Trinity Cube (2015)
Irradiated broken glass collected from inside the Fukushima Exclusion Zone forms the outer layer of this sculpture. The work’s inner core is made out of Trinitite, the mineral created on July 16, 1945 when the United States exploded the world’s first atomic bomb near Alamogordo, New Mexico, heating the desert’s surface to the point where it turned surface sand into a greenish glass.
The Wavering Skies by Germaine Kruip. A slow moving shadow is created by 300 computer-controlled halogen lamps hung above a translucent fabric ceiling.
“A Parallel Image” is an electronic camera obscura. This media-archaeological, interactive sculpture is based on the fictive assumption that the currently still valid principle of electronically transmitting moving images, namely by breaking them down into single images and image lines, was never discovered.

Distorted House
Morphovision is a unique display system that interactively transforms and animates a 3D solid object before our eyes. In this system, a model house is rotated at high speed, and is illuminated with special lighting from a digital projector. This enables the model to be distorted into various shapes.
Cube
A cube. It’s one of nature’s purest, most basic forms. We see cubes every day, usually made of elemental materials like sugar and ice. But what if the cube is something altogether more complicated? What happens when cubes are constructed of plywood and bamboo, foam and hay, chopped up telephone books and strands of chicken wire? Cube is a speculative investigation of this primal shape, a tactile exploration of the imagination in which unexpected materials create surprisingly beautiful and intriguing objects.
